In summer mosquitoes, wasps and pollen are a nuisance if the window is open. The net must match the frame, the transom and how you use the opening – one type does not fit every case.
Roller (retractable) nets
When not in use they roll into the box, leaving the full window clear. A common choice for conventional windows where the net does not need to stay in place all the time.
Fixed nets
Mounted on the rebate or a flange, they give constant protection. Practical when the opening is often left open and the mesh does not spoil the view.
For doors: hinged, pleated, sliding
For patio and entrance doors the mosquito net range offers several opening styles: hinged door, cord or chain pleated, and sliding fabric. Threshold, frame depth and daily traffic decide the right type.
